Congratulations to Michael for beating his last year's time in the Marathon Sunday and especially for running side by side with Ben all the way. It must have been quite an experience. "KOOL"
We enjoyed having Rev. Rohani Weger with us Sunday. Since it was the first Sunday in Lent, we did the Great Litany although the choir only processed as usual. It was a good experience for us all, " and y'all done great."
News Flash-Ralph Whitman just called and said that his surgical procedure has been postponed until around
Easter. He is deeply appreciative of everyone who has reached out to him and wanted everyone to know. He said
he would see us in church Sunday.
By the Way--I saw Joyce and Merle Juhnke at HEB Monday. She said it was the 1st time she had been in the
store. She looks good and is coming right along with the help of her faithful nurse, Merle. Keep them in your
prayers and thoughts.
Our Lenten Study Series will begin this Wednesday, TODAY, February 21. with Soup Supper at 5:30 and Michael's Study at 6:00 PM. The study will be on the Parables which should give us all plenty to think about. If you can, please sign up to bring soup or bread for one or more of the sessions. If you don't see the sign up sheet-ask Carol
Weathers.
