Lent began Sunday. Our Sunday Service began with " The Great Litany", led by our supply priest the Rev. Ben Long and our choir. It was an introduction to this particular time of our Church Year of reflection and prayer. Such a pity we only do this service once a year as I feel we might even get more from the service if we were more familiar with it. Maybe next year we will try and remember to give a heads up a couple of weeks in advance so you could go over it in the prayer book a head of time. Thank you all that participated.
Sunday was our Baked Potato Luncheon for our graduating seniors. A good time was had by all. Thanks go to all that made it happen.
Congratulations go to Michael who finished 9th in his age division at the Austin Marathon and to Kathryn Drake who completed a 1/2 Marathon in less that two hours. Way to go, you two!!!

with a special purpose.
