First, some things about the Posada that will make it more meaningful and enjoyable-After the service, please make your way toward the side door, but don't be in a hurry. Layreaders and the choir will need to change.
Watch for Mary and Joseph (in costume who are by the way, Tom and Susan Mitchell). We will follow them first to Michael's office, then to the church office, then to the Youth Center, and finally the Parish Hall. This year the big addition is music. Michael has found the music in English so we can understand it. He has it recorded on a portable device so we can follow it. We will have song sheets. If you have any questions, please ask.
A sharing from Diane Hays-"Exercise: Walk with God". Thanks Diane.

Michael's sermon had much to say especially in the hustle and bustle of these days. He closed it with these words." The beginning and end of these healing is in the love embedded in humble day-to-day instances of good will between people who chance upon each other in the most commonplace circumstances. Louis Armstrong sang about it in 'What a Wonderful World.-The colors of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky, are also on the faces of people going by. I see friends shaking hands, saying, "How do you do?' They're really saying, "I love you' The apostle Paul has it this way in the Epistle from last Sunday: 'It is now the moment for you to wake from sleep'".
Thanks Michael,
Have a blessed week,
Carpe Every Diem,
Rufus and Sandy
