Last Sunday was the blessing of the pledge cards, somehow making the turning in of them more meaningful.
If you were not able to turn yours in last Sunday, you can turn them in to the church office or put them in the
collection plate Sunday.
Breakfast with Michael was most enjoyable. It is always good to hear people talking, laughing, and enjoying
themselves. Thanks to all who made it happen. I (Sandy) realize I got my Dianes mixed up. It was Diane
Langley who helped with the biscuits. Thanks Diane L.
Next Sunday is the Posada right after church. We will process out the door closest to the church office. Please don't be in any hurry as Michael, the servers, and the choir need to divest and join everyone. Mary and Joseph(Tim and Melinda Hallmark) will lead us first to Michael's office, then to Diane Williams' office, then to the Youth Center where they will be turned away. This year the mean innkeepers will have a change of heart and will welcome us in the parish hall. There is music to go along with us, Michael has it on his phone. There are
also song sheets so we can follow along as best we can. We hope you can come. If you have a nativity set
you would like to bring to use on the tables, please do so. And get ready for the beans, enchiladas, and rice
from loving Epiphany kitchens.
A special thank you to Carol Weathers who is taking Joyce Juhnke's place, providing the salad and bread
for the Highland Lakes Respite Center. And thanks also to Deborah Kelley who is bringing dessert.
Mark your calendars now for January 7 when we will celebrate the 60th anniversary of our church as well
as the 14th anniversary of the dedication of our new church. It will be a wonderful way to celebrate
