News Flash about the Rummage Sale-You can bring your treasures as early as Sunday, September 3 as Weight Watchers will not meet Monday, September 4. Remember the sale is Friday, September 8 and Saturday, September 9. If you find you have an hour or two to help with the sale, please get in touch with Carol Weathers. Any and all help would be most appreciated.
Speaking of St. Anne's, St. Anne's Guild meets today at 10:00 in the Parish Hall.
Because of a scheduling glitch, the back lot is scheduled to be mowed Friday.
Let's Talk about Community Kitchen---For some time there has been a lot of CONFUSION as to what it going on with Community Kitchen--WELL, since February 2017 when Sandy Arrington took over the First and Third C/K---things are more clear--first thing, the only thing Epiphany was contributing was "Sweat Equity" but as of September the Vestry voted to contribute $150 per month to help. Folks, this is MAJOR OUTREACH with ACTION--Thank you To the People of Epiphany.....Feed my Sheep---
This Sunday the new kneelers will be put into place and blessed. Please try to come for this special celebration. This was a huge effort on the part of Mary Stevens, Dolores Urias, Ellie Burkes, Phyllis McNelly, Carol Weathers, Karen Leitch, Rachel Bryson, and Linda Dyke. Thanks also to all who contributed financially.
Also, because of the Rummage Sale, the Covered Dish Lunch has been postponed until Sunday, September 17
