About the Red Doors-Not only are they beautiful, but they have an important meaning to Epiphany. Red doors signify the presence of the Holy Spirit. They also mean Sanctuary. In years past, red doors on a church meant sanctuary for anyone being pursued-including slaves fleeing on the Underground Railway.
Update on Breakfast with Michael-As of now, 30 people are coming. Thank you so much to all who have responded one way or the other. We understand that some folks don't know yet. Please try to let us know by this Sunday. The meal will be provided, but there will be a basket for contributions in case we want to do it again sometime---but no more 2 or 3 dollars per person.
Speaking of Michael-He will be back with us this Sunday. Thanks to David Leitch who did a great job with Morning Prayer last Sunday and to our two supply priests Joyce Wilkinson and Ben Long. But-it will be so good to have Michael back. This Sunday will also be Cracker Sunday.
