Let us begin with some words from Michael:
"My intention was to write a note to each person who contributed to a beautiful and profound series of
Holy Week observances and Easter Eve/Day celebrations. You can sense the ' but', can't you? But...I've
been so consumed with moving/preparing house for sale issues that I've had to change some priorities
this year. So, please know that my gratitude is no less, even though I'm issuing this thank-you in blanket
fashion. Thank you all for preparing bulletins, publishing the E-Star, preparing the altar, ushering, serving at the altar, reading , preparing food, singing and playing music(Wow!) and the tasks that are so behind-the-scenes that even I am unaware of them at this moment. Like Easter egg preparation and hunting. See? Ican't even make this list properly. Just know that I thank all of you(even if I've omitted someone) for making Epiphany an amazing beacon of our Episcopal way of worshiping God. See you Sunday!

There will be NO Choir Practice tonight(Wednesday).
In closing --from Michael's Sermon: "Again he shows the lengths to which God goes for our benefit by returning to satisfy Thomas's doubting spirit. And he tells Thomas, and us, that there are those who will be called to believe without the benefit of seeing his wounds and touching his scars So their ministry is all the more important because it means carrying this message of grace and salvation to all those people. This is the Easter reality repeated for the benefit of the disciples in the earliest days of the Church. And the reality repeated for us who are meant to be God's agents of forgiveness and healing and reconciliation."
Carpe every diem,
Rufus and Sandy
